Finishing 2024 Strong and Looking Forward to 2025
We had a great end to 2024 at Fulfillment House. Our associates filled an impressive 9,652 orders in November and 12,397 orders in December.
In addition to completing our daily orders, our associates worked hard to fill our shelves in preparation for Charles Payne’s next Town Hall promotion for his books, coming up in January. Working ahead on this large influx of orders enables us to ship them out in the timely manner our clients expect.
Our associates also spent time creating the handmade items we sell in our retail space. They continue to make a variety of beaded bracelets, keychains, and pens. They also designed a number of new greeting cards, including several Christmas options. Many of the associates love this creative outlet, and we are excited to see this aspect of our business continue to grow. If you need greeting cards or a small gift, please stop by and see what we have to offer!
On top of our usual activities, we held our traditional pie fundraiser during the month of November. Once again, we partnered with Betty’s Place in Holt, with Fulfillment House marketing and selling Betty’s pies, cinnamon rolls, and dinner rolls. The Thanksgiving orders placed through Fulfillment House were brought to our building and distributed to customers by our associates.
On November 20, our staff and associates gathered after work to celebrate Thanksgiving together. Fulfillment House provided the turkeys, and everyone brought side dishes and desserts to share for a potluck-style dinner. Everyone enjoyed relaxing together and sharing their favorite holiday dishes with one another. It was a special evening and a great reminder of how much we have to be thankful for.

At the beginning of December, Fulfillment House’s staff expanded by hiring Joey Soutter as our new General Manager. Soutter will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, developing strategic initiatives, and ensuring Fulfillment House continues to meet its mission of serving adults with special needs and disabilities through meaningful employment opportunities and community engagement.
On December 7, our team gathered for a catered lunch and White Elephant gift exchange at Fulfillment House. Then, we headed to Crown Center to attend a special performance of the Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) version of Finding Nemo at the Coterie Theatre. After the show, the associates had an opportunity to meet and take photos with the cast. Everyone loved the show and the fun opportunity to celebrate the holidays together.
